BTS: Tools and Systems Used

How the Realm is built/maintained

Huzzah and well met to my group of most generous supporters via the coin, thank you all for being here!

I’ve needed to do this particular behind-the-scenes post for months and months at this point because one of the questions I get almost every single day is some variation of: “What tools do you use?” “How did you make that?” “Where did you draw that?” “What’s your process?” “How do you keep track of all this?”

So I figured it was finally time to just sit down (jk this was written over the course of like six weeks) and do one giant compilation of all the tools, systems, organizational methods, and assorted nonsense that keeps the realm functioning!

Honestly, most of the actual tools are pretty straightforward! The organizational system on the otherhand…… I mean wow are yall ready to see a life of high functioning unmedicated ADHD in all it’s glory?

Because a lot of what you’ll read in that is essentially a collection of self-regulation techniques and accommodations that I’ve assembled over the course of my life in an effort to become a somewhat functional adult :D I don’t think I fully realized how cuckoo bananas some of it sounds until I wrote it all out in one place. If I ever have health insurance again, I may just hand this article directly to a psychiatrist and wait patiently for them to prescribe me something (anything. please god.) That said, maybe some of it will be useful to you if you’re also someone whose brain is also like that there may be a tip or two buried in here that helps. Or maybe you’ll just walk away feeling significantly better about your own organizational system comparitively LOL.

Either way, I hope this answers some of the questions I get so often about how everything comes together behind the scenes.

I’m also going to try to be much better about these behind-the-scenes posts moving forward. I’d love to start doing one of these every week or so.
